Succulent Space will function as a vacation unit for a young newly wed couple in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona. The use of various natural materials, such as wood and stone, will reflect the local culture while maintaining a modern and eclectic aspect. The small square footage will be balanced by the open concept floor plan, allowing the space to feel small and intimate, yet free flowing. The color scheme will include earthy, dry tones of red, green, and brown to establish a desert-like ambience.

NEXT is a private medical group that has existed in the Pacific-Northwest for over 20 years. One of their recent acquisitions is a multidisciplinary medical group based out of Seattle, Washington. The building projected for use by NEXT will be renovated from its current form to better meet the needs of this medical practice.

The Massif Chair is inspired by the geometric form of Davide Barzaghi and CTRL ZAK Studio’s collaboration of the Quartz Armchair, as well the scene of layering mountains. The Massif Chair will exhibit dominance in any space with it’s bold and distinct angles, along with it’s darker color scheme. The steel frame of the chair will create a clean and organized design, while the inserted pillows contrast to create a relaxing seating space. The pillow inserts are not only removable, but also serve the purpose of extra seating when needed, allowing for the chair to seat multiple people. This chair will fit in both residential and commercial spaces, providing both a modern and sophisticated element.
